The cold gas thruster is one of the significant components of a satellite and its application possesses a marked impact on the entire system performance. The cold gas thruster is one of the significant components of a satellite and its application possesses a marked impact on the entire system performance. The nonlinear function and order of magnitude, lead to increasing the importance of thruster function. Therefore, pre-mission performance assessment has a considerable effect on the risk reduction of space missions. In this article, an uncomplicated and efficient pendulum scheme for development and implementation of a Thruster Test Stand (TTS), to measure the thrust produced at the end of the nozzle is proposed. The TTS is capable of measuring thrust levels in the range of 0.1Newtons to 3N with operating frequencies up to 50 Hz which is used by various satellite ranges. The experimental results demonstrate that although the designed device is less sophisticated than other test devices, it is capable of measuring the produced thrust very precisely and with less than 15mN.

در این تحقیق توسعة روش کنترل وضعیت برای ماژول زیرمداری، با استفاده از پیشرانه‌های گاز سرد و کاربرد روش ماتریس خطایِ کواترنین برای مأموریت کوتاه مدتِ ماژول فضایی انجام گرفته است. فرمان‌‌های کنترل وضعیت از سیستم هدایت صادر شده و به کنترلر مبتنی بر کواترنین داده می‌شود تا میزان گشتاور لازم هر محور محاسبه شود. سیستم تحت کنترل دارای معادلات دینامیکِ حرکتِ وابسته و غیر خطی بوده و در ترکیب با پیشرانه‌های گاز سرد با عملکرد غیرخطی و ناپیوسته، دینامیک پیچیدهای حاصل می‌شود. قانونِ کنترلِ غیر خطی بر اساس تعریف ماتریسِ خطایِ کواترنین به همراه کاربرد مدولاتورِ سیگنالِ فرمان که زمان خاموش و روشن بودن پیشرانهها را مدوله میکند، برای فرمان به پیشرانهها طراحی شده است. از ویژگیهای این طراحی اجتناب از تکینگی موجود در طراحیهای مبتنی بر زوایای اویلر و عملکرد مطلوب برای زوایایِ فرمانِ بزرگ و با نرخ چرخش بالاست. در شبیهسازی، اثرات اغتشاشات خارجی و نامعینیِ مدلِ سیستم بررسی شده است که نشان از عملکرد مطلوب کنترل طراحی شده برای کاربرد در ماژول فضایی مورد نظر در مأموریت خواسته شده است.
